A stranger often sends risky ASL messages by requesting age, gender or location early in a conversation. When the sender coerces the child into giving answers or using force and repeats, it is a warning sign. Children should be taught by parents to follow their instincts and not react. When children are aware that strangers should not know personal information on the internet, it would be easy to identify unsafe messages.
