Zero stress selling my old Pajero - 800Sayara experience

Just wanted to add another positive data point for anyone who's on the fence. I had a 2014 Mitsubishi Pajero 3.8L with 210k km on it, paint fading on the hood, a small oil leak from the valve cover, and the AC wasn't as cold as it used to be. Honestly I thought no instant buyer would want it because it was clearly a high mileage workhorse that needed some love. I almost didn't even bother calling anyone and was about to just give it to a used car dealer in Sharjah for whatever they'd offer, which was around 11k. But then I saw this thread and figured why not try 800Sayara first. The guy on the phone was upfront that high mileage would affect the price but he still gave me a ballpark of 14-16k depending on the inspection. The inspector came two days later, spent a good 45 minutes checking everything, even crawled underneath to look at the chassis and suspension components. He pointed out the oil leak and the AC issue, which I had already mentioned, and the final offer came back at 14,200. That was three thousand more than the Sharjah dealer offered and I didn't have to drive all the way there or deal with haggling. They transferred the money before the tow truck even arrived, which was a relief because I've read horror stories about other companies. The whole thing from first phone call to money in my account took about 48 hours. If you have an older car that's still mechanically sound but not pretty, don't assume these services won't want it. Just be honest about the condition and you might be surprised. Definitely recommend based on my experience.
