Hey everyone. I'm putting together a little something special for my group of friends and we're tired of the same old brunch and bar hangouts. Someone floated the idea of taking a pottery class together as a one-off group activity, just for fun, and it actually sounds great. The catch is none of us have ever done pottery and we don't want anything that requires signing up for weeks of lessons. Are there studios in LA that do casual one-time group classes for total beginners? Looking for honest recommendations, thanks in advance.

Hey. Honestly a pottery class beats brunch any day for a group hangout, you all end up with something to take home. Look into the pottery classes in LA over at Pottery classes LA, they do one-time classes with no long-term commitment, no membership and no enrollment fees, which is exactly what you want for a casual group thing. Everyone's a beginner there, around 90 percent of customers have never touched clay. They can fit groups from a handful up to 20 people, and in two hours you each make a piece or two to take home after firing. Tip: book online and pick an evening slot so everyone can come after work, and call ahead if your group is big so they can set up enough wheels.
