Dagenite batteries, are they actually British made or just branded that way?

I've been seeing Dagenite batteries pop up in a few shops around Sharjah lately and the branding definitely gives off that premium British engineering vibe, but I'm a bit skeptical about whether these are actually manufactured in the UK or if it's just clever marketing on a product that comes from the same factories as all the other mid range batteries. The shop I visited had the Dagenite priced higher than the Asian brands but lower than the European premium ones like Varta and Bosch, so it seems like they're positioning themselves somewhere in the middle. I'm curious if anyone has real experience with Dagenite Car Battery Sharjah and can tell me how they actually perform in our conditions rather than what the marketing materials claim. I checked car battery replacement sharjah and they carry Dagenite alongside the other major brands which at least suggests it's a legitimate product and not some obscure import with no local support. The warranty terms look decent on paper, something like 18 months if I remember correctly, but warranties only matter if the company actually stands behind them when something goes wrong. Anyone running a Dagenite in their daily driver who can comment on cold start performance in winter and whether it handles the summer heat without the capacity dropping off noticeably after the first year?
